We have a new addition to our home, Molly is a Shih-Tzu X and is about 8 years old (possibly younger). We adopted her from Little Paws rescue in Coquitlam. We have had her since Saturday the 7th of March and she is definitely leaving her mark in our home. First day she pooped in the dining room and now she has decided that Mom's bedroom would be a good place to pee (daily). Little Miss Molly has an issue with using the backyard for a bathroom, we have to drag her across the patio and onto the grass, strange behaviour. Molly's last home (we think we may be owners # 3) she was given Kibbles & Bits dog food to graze on, no exercise as she is a couch potatoe and the last couple of days we have found her in my bathtub licking the water off the bottom and sides of the tub, so she probably wasn't given any water and had to fend for herself. Well she definitely has found a good home, wonderful food to eat, always fresh water in a dish (a novel idea) and a walk every day, did I mention she is 28.7 lbs and should be about 15-17 lbs, yup daily walks for both of us. Molly is adapting well to her new surroundings, she enjoys sitting in the chair in my room and watching the world go by, sleeping on Mom's bed, curled up in her housecoat and she has tried every piece of furniture in the living room to see which one would be the most comfortable.
Again, welcome Little Miss Molly....

Good Golly Miss Molly!..(you knew that was coming)....sounds like she has made the place her own....ie Dining room = litterbox #2 ...(I thought the number 2 was more appropriate), your Mom's room = Litter box #1 (peeing only), and sleeping quarters , and last but not least... your room = the local watering hole , (and occasional sleep overs)......she's found home!
Wow!! I'm so happy for you!! I Sounds like a good fit for everybody...can't wait to meet her!!D
